It's Better to Travel than Arrive?

La Roca Outlet Village, Granollers, Spain

We'd heard great things about La Roca Outlet Village, so we headed along for a look - it was certainly very beautiful and well laid out but it was EXPENSIVE.

Unfortunately the prices were absolutely bonkers and we bought precisely nothing.  If you're from the US, just don't bother, the prices at pretty much every US outlet are going to be significantly cheaper than this.  If you're from Europe, you might be able to sniff out a bargain, but I honestly found the prices to be a bit mad.

The biggest, and most poplar, store was Ralph Lauren, and there were a few bits and bobs in there that were okay, but nothing worth going mad over.  The prices in there seemed more reasonable, but they were still on the high side.

We got a taxi from our hotel (about €15) and then caught the local bus back to Granollers (€2).  The bus winds its way through the village of La Roca and our driver obviously thought he was in a Grand Prix as he was absolutely racing.  It didn't affect his singing voice though, and he was rocking along out loud to Kylie Minogue as he drove.
